  1. We visited B&Q at Festival Park,Hanley, yesterday to purchase a lavatory seat and without having to ask for help your assistant Aimee came over to us, seeing that we were old and struggling with dimensions, and gave us her undivided attention going way beyond the call of duty. In fact my husband and I both agreed that she had been one of the most pleasant, most helpful and friendly assistant we had ever met. We commend her to you unreservably.

  5. B & Q Buxton – We were recently in Buxton Store looking for a particular type of clip to fix on to a fascia panel. We could not identify anything similar, so targeted a member of staff on the shopfloor. Rob searched and then when he had exhausted every avenue, he suggested that we may find this particular item at another local company. So helpful and we were able to obtain exactly what we needed.
    Thanks Rob!

  15. Today, I went to my local store in Peterborough, I wanted help to put up a curtain rail and needed to know what type of fixings etc I would need. From the start I met a very helpful and cheerful lady Tracy ( loved the hat) who found “Mike P” . He was so very helpful and patient, he answered all my questions and showed me what tools I would need and also how they worked.
There was no “mansplaining” at all.
When he showed me the range of tools he suggested a very reasonable price range.
Overall I was extremely impressed with all the service and help given to me today. Well done to Mike P, and Tracy – a credit to the store.

  16. Visited the cheetham hill b&q, the worst b&q I have been too and I have been to alot as I travel around the UK for work.
The staff are extremely rude, unpleasant and ill mannered! Especially management!
Spoke to Shaunie apparently she is flooring team leader she was really UNhelpful and rude all i did was ask a few questions on a product, so i wanted to make a complaint and spoke to decor manager Kevin, he was worse than the other one!!! Extemely rude, no manners what so ever! Pulling foul faces as he spoke! I cant believe people like that have positions like that! B&Q loses reputation with people like that working for the company! I bet the regular staff who are working under them are miserable! Rubbish store!

  17. I visited the Sudbury branch today & couldn’t find two small items. I asked Rachael & she couldn’t have been more helpful. She took me to the first item ( a bath/sink plug) so I could choose the correct size I needed. Whilst I was selecting that she went & brought the second item (car screen de-icer) to me. She also asked if there was anything else I needed. It made the whole experience very pleasant.
